Certello Compliance Analyzer · Legal information

Terms of Service

These terms govern the public website and general use of Certello Compliance Analyzer. A customer agreement governs each contracted service.

Updated 4 October 2026

Certello provides analysis support and traceable decision material. It does not provide a legal opinion or guarantee that every relevant issue or item has been identified.

1. Service

Certello AB provides tools that help organisations identify and review content on their own websites, documents and authorised social channels. Outputs may include source references, transcription, OCR, findings, prioritisation and reports.

2. Eligible users

The service is for organisations and their authorised representatives. Accounts are personal and permissions must be limited to the user’s role.

3. Authority to connect a channel

A social-media connection may be made only by a person authorised to act for the account or organisation. The customer chooses the scope, issues instructions, ensures a lawful basis and obtains any necessary notices, consents or other permissions.

The customer must not request access to another person’s private account or content, represent itself as an account owner without authority, or use Certello to monitor individuals independently of the agreed organisational purpose.

4. Permitted use

API permissions are used only for the customer functions described at the time of connection. Circumventing platform controls, scraping in breach of platform rules, unauthorised redistribution, mass profiling and discriminatory or unlawful use are prohibited. Certello may suspend a workflow where lawful or platform-authorised access cannot be demonstrated.

5. TikTok

TikTok accounts are connected through TikTok’s authorisation flow. Each account must be authorised separately. Certello may use basic profile information and public video metadata made available under the approved scopes. Media processing for transcription and OCR occurs only where the media is separately and validly provided, including through an approved one-time Posts and Profile transfer.

Certello does not request TikTok direct messages, activity history or the full account archive for this integration. Users may revoke the connection and request deletion under the processes described in the Privacy Policy and GDPR page.

6. Content and intellectual property

Customers retain rights in their own material. Third-party content remains subject to the rights of its owners and may be used only within applicable law, licence and platform terms. Certello retains rights in its software, methods, interface and brand.

7. Third-party services

Functions may depend on external platforms and providers for hosting or analysis. Access, fields, quotas and functions may change or end. Mention of a platform does not mean that the platform endorses Certello.

8. Data protection and security

Personal data is handled under the Privacy Policy, the GDPR and deletion page and the customer’s data processing agreement. Roles, instructions, subprocessors, incident contact and deletion requirements are established for the engagement.

9. Availability and responsibility

Certello aims to provide accurate, traceable material but cannot guarantee unchanged API availability, complete platform coverage or a particular authority’s conclusion. Scope, service levels, fees, liability limits and specific warranties are governed by the customer agreement.

10. Changes and termination

On termination, access is disabled, connections are revoked and data is handled according to documented instructions, applicable agreements and platform rules. Material changes to these terms are communicated as appropriate.
